In 1994, Franklynn Industries pioneered water based mold release technology with dip-able coatings for mandrel wrapped composite prepreg applications including golf shafts, high performance arrows, and hockey sticks. The product selection included unique “tack-able” features eliminating the need for secondary solvent tack agents and providing manufacturers added flexibility for stacking various prepreg configurations.
