Franklynn Industries has supplied a waterbased, dilutable mold release agent for
many years now to facilitate the easy removal of reground rubber mats and similar
products from the mold.
Aqualift 3509 was formulated for applications where cured rubber is cryogenically
ground into small “spheres”, mixed with Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate and cured
in a hot mold.
For products where “spheres” of cryogenically ground Natural rubber are mixed with
powdered sulphur, DiamondKote 3998S is the premier, semi-permanent mold release
agent, which facilitates the ease (and repeated) removal of products such as animal
fatigue mats. These mats are utilized throughout the agricultural industry over
concrete floors to increase the animal’s comfort.
