Free iPod Touch! Franklynn maintains tradition of staying close to customers.
Loveland, OH – Franklynn Industries, A Division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW) has announced the launch of a major initiative intended to assess current conditions and needs in the rubber molding industry.

Internally referred to as Market Segment Focus or MSF, this ‘discovery’ process is designed to uncover unfilled needs of a particular market segment and has been effectively utilized by ITW, Franklynn’s parent company. ITW is known in the industrial marketplace as one of the most active innovators ranked in the Top 100 patent recipients in the United States and MSF has played a major role in this achievement.

Franklynn has embarked upon their own MSF study targeted at mold release agents and specialty coatings: “In the light of the severe economic crisis we feel it is of crucial importance, now more than ever, to stay abreast of the issues rubber molders are facing. It is our sole purpose to better define the problems a typical rubber molding facility deals with every day. By teaming up with and listening to our customers, we hope to develop a better understanding - and ultimately solutions - to challenges our customers wish to resolve. As the needs of our customers change, so does our research focus “said Zdenka Puflerova, Product Manager at Franklynn.
