Franklynn announced today the launch of Tire Mold Cavity Lube.
In keeping with Franklynn’s core philosophy of formulating mold release agents that increase production efficiency, DiamondKote Cavity Lube was developed specifically to enhance the tire molding process. This new water-based formulation exhibits durability as much as 3x higher than competition, which brings significant reduction in overall cavity lube consumption. Such reduced spray frequency also allows for higher output in between applications, minimum downtime and maximum productivity.
Additionally, DiamondKote reduces build up of lube, rubber remnants and other contaminants on the mold surface and therefore, allows for longer intervals between scheduled mold cleanings. The ease of tire removal from the mold shortens ‘open press’ time by up to 60%.
All these attributes combined, tire molders may expect significant productivity enhancements and cost savings.
DiamondKote Cavity Lube is available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallons drums and 375-gallon totes.
